It is expected that for students to achieve their full potential at REACH Academy, regular and timely attendance is essential. Students are expected to attend school regularly and on time. Parents/guardians are encouraged to partner with REACH to ensure attendance and timeliness.
After 8:00 am, students who are not present will be marked absent. It is the parent’s responsibility to call the school when your child will be absent. Please call the main office at 419-691-4876 to report your child absent for the day.
When should I keep my child home for illness?
Medications at school
Children can only take prescription medication at school. Please fill out the appropriate form in the school office, and provide the medication in the original packaging with the dosing information. Medication will be administered by certified staff in the school office. Please make sure prescriptions are refilled in a timely manner.
Please do not send over-the-counter medication (Tylenol, Sudafed, Benadryl, etc.) in to school with your child. If you feel your child needs an over-the-counter medication, please have them take it before leaving for school in the morning, and then have them take it again when they get home from school.
Please refer to our Parent-Student Handbook for specific information regarding medications at school.
