Our Safety Patrol program started this month! Fifth grade students had to apply for the job and complete an interview with references. Selected students now wear the Safety Patrol belt/sash and badge, and assist the staff with dismissal, breakfast clean-up, and other safety jobs throughout the day. We are so thankful for their commitment and responsibility!
Our Santa Shop will be open December 15-18 during school hours Monday-Wednesday and on Thursday until noon. Students can bring in money in the Santa Shop envelope and purchase gifts for family and friends! All money raised will be used for our PTO, which provides extra resources and rewards for our students.

Miss Dorsey's Kindergarten class had lots of fun breaking open the piñata! Thank you to everyone who shopped at our Book Fair! Encourage your child to read every day, even over the holidays!

The Toledo Fire Department visited REACH Academy today as part of our celebration of October as Fire Prevention and Safety Month. Our students received first-hand experience in what to do in a house if there is a fire, thanks to TPD's Fire Safety House! They learned about the importance of smoke detectors and practiced safe ways to exit a house filled with smoke. Many thanks to TPD!
