It’s that time of year again- re-enrollment time! If you wish for your child to continue to be part of the REACH Academy family for the 2015-2016 school year, you must re-enroll to reserve their spot.
The re-enrollment period, February 2-27, is ONLY for current REACH Academy students. It’s our way of giving you “first dibs” at securing your child’s spot for next year. Beginning March 2, enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year is open and available to the public. Available spots will be filled until classrooms reach capacity. If your child has not re-enrolled, we cannot guarantee them a spot for next year.
Re-enrollment is very simple. Just fill out return the one page re-enrollment form to school with your child. There is space on the form to indicate if you wish to re-enroll multiple children. Forms will be coming home with students this week!
Frequently asked Questions:
Q: I have a child who will be in Kindergarten next year. Can I enroll them during the re-enrollment period?
A: Yes, but only if you currently have children enrolled at REACH Academy. New Kindergarten students MUST be 5 years of age by September 30, 2015. Parents must fill out the entire enrollment packet, which can be obtained in the main office. Parents will also need to provide the office with a copy of the child’s social security card, 2 proofs of residency, copy of birth certificate, and shot record. Enrollment is NOT complete until all documents are received by the office. If you do not currently have children enrolled at REACH Academy, you may enroll your prospective Kindergarten student during Open Enrollment, which begins March 2.
Q: I would like to send my current 5th grader to 6th grade at Eagle Academy Secondary. Can I just fill out REACH Academy’s re-enrollment form?
A: Sorry, no. REACH Academy and Eagle Secondary are separate schools. In order to enroll your child at Eagle Secondary for the 2015-2016 school year, please contact Eagle Secondary at 419-697-2760.
Please feel free to contact the office with any questions you may have about enrollment! Sincerely,
Shannon M. Kane, School Leader, REACH Academy
